Investments & Estate Planning

We can select any investment solution available in the market to match your individual needs. This can include making use of your annual ISA allowance, sheltering your invested assets from Inheritance Tax, investing for growth, managing your capital gains or drawing an income in a tax efficient manner.

As a member of 2Plan who provide our technology and compliance services, we have exclusive access to the Omnis Managed Portfolio Service.  This provides our clients with a consistent investment process, that combines both strategic and tactical asset allocations with the aim of minimising losses and seeking additional returns.  Having the investment process centralised, enables a high level of governance, consistency and control to provide superior customer outcomes.

We also offer a range of structured deposits, where the rate of interest you get depends on how the stock market index or other measure performs. If the stock market index falls, there will be no interest paid but the money you originally invest will be protected. A structured deposit therefore provides the possibility of a stock market return without risking your capital as you would if you were investing directly in shares.

The value of investments and any income from them can fall as well as rise and you may not get back the original amount invested.

HM Revenue and Customs practice and the law relating to taxation are complex and subject to individual circumstances and changes which cannot be foreseen.

  • Monitor fund performance against objectives
  • Make use of fresh tax year allowance (ISA, capital gains tax (CGT) and gifting allowances)
  • Update on legislation changes
  • Update on inheritance tax (IHT)/pension changes
  • Consider any additional investments
